Honda MSX125 125cc Motorbike
Honda MSX125
Experience supreme performance matched with confidence handling and a style that combines a sense of fun with urban edge.
The MSX125 (Mini-Street Xtreme 125) exudes a sharper, edgier look.
The MSX125 retains the charm of the original design but with added attitude.
ATTITUDE REDESIGNED
"Mini-Streetfighter" Feel
In 2013, the MSX125 (Mini Street X-Treme 125) was developed for a new generation of young riders.
A thorough redesign in 2016 gave the MSX125 an even sharper new attitude with an enhanced design that projects a streetfighter feel.
Now with more angular design lines, unique stacked LED headlight and a compact, under-slung exhaust.
The MSX125 is part mini-bike part motorcycle featuring well-proven and efficient 125cc fuel-injected engine for consistent power delivery.
FEATURES
MSX125 is packed with features and upgrades to enhance your ride.
Aggressive Street Fighter Style
The MSX125 builds on the original ground breaking design it first hit the world with, this time in the form of an aggressive street fighter style.
LCD Digital Dash and Glimmering LED Headlight
MSX125 features a newly stacked LED headlight giving the model a distinctive, ultra-modern face. An easy-to-read compact LCD digital dash features a speedometer, twin trip meters, fuel gauge and clock. Switches either side of the display allow the rider to reset the trip meters and clock, or alternate between odometer and tripmeter.
Improved 125cc Two-Valve Air-Cooled Engine
Known for its fuel efficiency, ease of use and longevity, MSX125's 125cc two-valve air-cooled engine has been further developed to produce an improvement in fuel economy. The engine uses low-friction technology such as an off-set cylinder and a reduction in crank inertia means an improved throttle feel and a smoother power delivery.
12-inch cast aluminium wheels
MSX125's 12-inch cast aluminium wheels are a fundamental part of the form and function of this innovative new model. The wheels feature 2.5-inch rims, and new "Y" shaped spokes save weight at the front 120/70-12 and 130/70-12 rear tyres. Hydraulic dual piston front and single piston rear brake calipers work front 220mm and rear 190mm discs.
Suspension Quality
One of the aims throughout the development of MSX125 was to provide exeptional suspension quality. The 31mm fork (a first on a 125cc Honda motorcycle) reduces upsrung weight and offers an improved dampning feel throughout the stroke, thanks to the piston's greater pressure-bearing area. A lightweight and robust single rear shock operates a simple and tough "H" shaped structure.
Low seat height
The MSX125 has a low and manageable 765mm seat height ensuring that owners find it a simple process to load and unload.
Steel Mono-Backbone Frame
The MSX125'S chassis provides a sturdy base for a practical bike easily manouevred by new riders whilst needing to be just as adaptable on more advanced terrain and readily accepting a pillion. The rigid, square-section tube of the steel-monobackbone frame joins the headstock directly to the swingarm pivot plates, keeping a minimalistic look.
SMALL IN APPEARANCE, LARGE IN IMPACT
MSX125 Development
During the original development of the MSX125, four patents were applied for which were focussed on the split structure tank cover and frame. This rectifies the seriousness with which Honda created this new model.
Experience the MSX125 following a comprehensive redesign, giving the bike a sharper new attitude and a original presence.
ENDLESSLY CUSTOMISABLE
Easy-to-Ride
The MSX125 has already earned worldwide popularity.
It's quirky looks and handling usability have attracted a wide range of A1 licence holders, city commuters and every day adventurers, also gaining popularity as the perfect paddock bike for race teams across the globe.
