Honda CRF300L 2021 Adventure Motorbike
BE THERE. WHEREVER THERE IS
We’ve reborn the CRF300L with a lightweight chassis, slimmer bodywork and boosted power and torque from the engine. But, while the specification has improved, the brilliant dual-purpose formula stays the same. The qualities that make it so good off–road – slim proportions, peppy throttle response, agile steering and supple suspension – also make it brilliant around town. The CRF300L enlivens any weekday commute with an enjoyable, satisfying all-round performance. And, come the weekend, this is a motorcycle born to explore.

LIGHTER. MORE POWERFUL. EVEN MORE FUN.
First, let’s do the numbers.
The CRF300L is 4kg lighter, thanks to its new frame and tapered aluminium swingarm, which you’ll notice the moment you change direction, on or off-road. The larger capacity single-cylinder engine produces an extra 1.9kW power with 4Nm more torque – which you’ll feel when you tap open the throttle – and now features an Assist/Slipper Clutch. Ground clearance is increased, and the riding position is tailored for complete control, with a slim fuel tank and seat, contoured for comfort and easy ground reach. A Gear Position indicator for the dash and an aggressive new headlight design are the smart finishing touches.
READY FOR WORK AND PLAY
The CRF300L draws DNA from the incredible CRF450R and CRF450RX competition bikes.
So it starts in a great place. And, thanks to HRC and their racing programme, we’ve improved every aspect of its dual-sport performance. Ground clearance is improved by 30mm, to make bumping off kerbs (or over logs) so much easier.
Seat height gains 5mm to 880mm, improving natural control, while the narrow fuel tank means you can move forward freely. Whether navigating rough city streets or conquering new trails – or both in a day – the CRF300L is born ready.

More powerful, liquid-cooled DOHC 4V single-cylinder engine
We’ve increased cubic capacity resulting in an extra 1.9kW peak power, at 20.1kW and 4Nm more peak torque, at 26.6Nm and delivery is crisp and instant. The engine also has full EURO5 compliance.
Assist/Slipper Clutch
The Assist/Slipper Clutch eases upshifts and manages rear wheel ‘hop’ under hard braking and rapid downshifts, for extra control around town in busy traffic. And it’s essential when navigating challenging off-road terrain.
Lighter chassis with improved ground clearance.
We’ve cut a total of 4kg out of the chassis thanks to a new frame design and a lightweight, tapered aluminium swingarm. A new forged aluminium bottom yoke also saves weight with improved stability. Improving off-road ability, there’s a total 285mm of ground clearance.
Slim, lightweight bodywork
For natural control off-road you need to move freely. The redesigned 7.8L fuel tank is narrower and saves weight. Matched to the re-contoured seat, it allows easy weight transfer forward to elevate front tyre grip.
Flexible suspension setup
43mm Showa USD forks feature a spring rate and damping calibrated for both road and off-road riding. The rear single-tube Showa monoshock, with 40mm diameter cylinder, operates through Pro-Link.
Floating front disc with ABS
For sensitive, powerful braking, the floating 256mm wavy disc is gripped by a two-piston caliper. Two-channel ABS allows the option to switch off the rear caliper for off-road riding.
Comprehensive digital dash
Easy-to-read information is laid out clearly and features a speedometer, rev-counter, fuel gauge and clock, and now also a gear position indicator.
